Crossdock Parts Kitting & Sequencing Project
Completed several business development projects to produce logistics analyses and proposals to optimize parts distribution networks for automotive OEMs at less cost. Produced a winning proposal to provide parts kitting & sequencing services for a General Motors assembly plant, delivering annual revenue of $1.4 million.
REVERSE LOGISTICS
Product Preservation & Packaging
Led project team at repair depot that packaged remanufactured electronics and optical components for stock & customer orders; devised process improvement strategy to augment project resources; increased deliverable by 50%; team completed 38% of annual total work in only 13% of total workdays of regular staff and received award for leadership.
SHIPMENT OF AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCT
Sea Lanes and Rail Transport Projects
On a Navistar project, produced a global distribution analysis for client's bid for ocean shipment of finished trucks, heavy vehicles & aftermarket parts to their dealer network in Europe and the Middle East. On another project, determined the railcar flatbed requirements for the movement of over 200 construction vehicles across Europe to a seaport.
